Postcard Ephesians 2
On the back of the postcard:
Ephesians 2
The painting portrays a menorah growing out from an olive tree.
The apostle Paul compares Israel to an olive tree.
(Romans 11)
When the Jewish and the Gentile believers in Jesus become one in the ancient root, the oil of God’s anointed presence flows.
While I was painting the tree, the face of the suffering Jesus
on the cross appeared. Through the cross He has broken down the wall
that separated Jews and Gentiles.
As members of the same household they are now being built together
for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
(Ephesians 2: 14-22)
